Review before publishing
Automatic checks catch technical problems. Whether the story is accurate and whether you may publish it is up to you, so watch the exported file once before it goes online.
| Check | What to look for |
|---|---|
| Story | It answers the question in your brief, without gaps or overstatement |
| Sources | Key claims say what the source actually says |
| Pictures | Footage, maps, names, dates and graphics match the sentence they belong to |
| Sound | No mispronounced names, music below the voice, no abrupt cuts |
| Captions | Names, numbers and timing; nothing covers a graphic |
| Rights | Every piece of media in the final cut and the credits it needs |
| Final file | The downloaded MP4, not the preview |

Watching three times is quicker than it sounds. Once with sound for story and narration, once muted to see whether every picture fits its sentence, and once on a phone for text size and loudness. Illustrative footage is illustration, never proof of the claim it sits under.
