Terms of Service
The terms that apply to a Scenvy account, its plans and credits, and the videos it produces.
Last updated August 22, 2026.
1. Acceptance of these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and MyChargePoint BW – Silas Wöhr ("Scenvy," "we," "us") governing your access to and use of the Scenvy website, application, and video generation service (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you're using the Service on behalf of a company or other organization, you're confirming that you have authority to bind that organization and "you" refers to it as well.
2. Who we are
Scenvy is operated by MyChargePoint BW – Silas Wöhr, Schloßgartenstraße 27, 76275 Ettlingen, Germany. You can reach us at contact@scenvy.app.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if that's older, to create a Scenvy account or make a purchase. Scenvy is not directed at children and we don't knowingly let anyone below that age sign up. If we learn that an account belongs to someone who doesn't meet this requirement, we'll close it.
4. Your account
You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you give us, for keeping your login credentials confidential, and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us right away at contact@scenvy.app if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
Onboarding asks a few questions about how you plan to use Scenvy (your country, what kind of creator you are, your experience level, and what you're hoping to make). We use these answers to set up your account and tailor the product; they're part of your account data and are covered by our Privacy Policy.
5. The service Scenvy provides
You give Scenvy a topic, and the Service researches it, writes a script and narration, and assembles a video from that script and from visuals it sources for you. The visuals come from licensed stock libraries and public domain or openly licensed archives, not from an image or video generation model. The script and the spoken narration are written and synthesized using AI language and speech models. Section 11 explains what that means for the accuracy of what Scenvy produces, and Section 10 explains how the licensing of sourced visuals works.
6. Plans, credits, and billing
Generating a video spends credits. New accounts receive a starting balance of free trial credits; we may change the size of that grant or discontinue it at any time, and trial credits have no cash value. Paid plans grant a recurring allotment of credits each billing period in exchange for a subscription fee, and you can also buy additional credits as a one time purchase. The credits included in a plan, and whether unused credits carry over to the next period, are described on the pricing page for that plan at the time you subscribe.
Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period, at the price and interval (monthly or annual) you selected, until you cancel. We'll email you before any price increase takes effect on a future renewal, with enough notice to cancel first if you'd rather not continue at the new price. Under our current small-business tax treatment, no VAT is charged or shown on invoices.
Payment is processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number; Stripe collects and holds your payment details directly. If a renewal payment fails, we may retry it, downgrade your plan, or suspend paid features until it's resolved.
7. Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel a subscription at any time from your account billing settings. Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep access to the plan you paid for until the end of the billing period already in progress, and we don't prorate or refund the unused part of that period. Credits already spent, and unused credits remaining when a plan ends, are not refundable except as this section or the law where you live requires.
If you're a consumer in the European Union, the European Economic Area, or the United Kingdom, you may have a legal right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days without giving a reason. Because generating a video begins using your credits immediately, by purchasing credits or a subscription and using the Service before those 14 days are up, you're asking us to start immediately and acknowledging that your right to withdraw ends once that credit has been spent, to the extent the law allows that. Nothing here limits any right you can't waive under the law that applies to you.
Before every paid order we ask you to confirm this request expressly, and we send you a contract confirmation that records it. The full statutory notice and model withdrawal form are in the withdrawal information. You can withdraw online without signing in via the Withdraw from contract button (German: „Vertrag widerrufen“) and cancel a subscription without signing in via the Cancel contracts here button (German: „Verträge hier kündigen“); both are shown in your selected language and send you an immediate confirmation with the date and time of receipt.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Scenvy to:
- Break the law, or infringe someone else's copyright, trademark, privacy, or other rights.
- Generate or publish material that's defamatory, harassing, hateful, or that impersonates a real person without a clear indication that the video isn't their own words.
- Produce deliberately misleading content about real events, public health, or elections, or otherwise use Scenvy for coordinated misinformation.
- Upload malware, attempt to probe, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to Scenvy's systems, or circumvent credit or usage limits.
- Scrape, resell, or use the Service to build a competing product without our written permission.
We can remove content, suspend, or close an account that violates this section, and where the law requires it, we may report unlawful content to the relevant authorities.
9. Content you upload
You keep ownership of any document, footage, image, transcript, or voice recording you upload to Scenvy. You grant us a license to host, copy, and process what you upload solely to provide the Service to you, which ends when you delete the content or your account (subject to Section 13's retention windows and any copy we're required to keep for legal or accounting reasons). We don't use content you upload to train AI models for other customers.
When you upload something, we ask you to confirm you hold the rights needed to use it in a video. We rely on that confirmation and don't independently verify it. You're responsible for making sure what you upload is actually yours to use, and you agree to cover us for any claim, loss, or expense that comes from an upload that wasn't.
10. Content Scenvy generates for you
Between you and Scenvy, you own the finished video a project produces, subject to two things. First, the underlying Scenvy software, models, and workflow that produced it remain ours; we're licensing you the output, not the means of making it. Second, the visuals a video includes are sourced from third parties under their own license terms, typically a stock license, a Creative Commons license, or a public domain designation, and those terms travel with the asset rather than being replaced by this agreement. Where a license requires attribution, Scenvy records it against the asset in your project.
We filter sourced visuals by the license each provider publishes for them and reject anything marked noncommercial, no derivatives, or fair use only. We don't manually, individually verify every provider's licensing claim, so we can't guarantee that every asset is completely free of third party rights, only that it passed this filter. Review a video before you publish it somewhere the underlying licensing matters, particularly for commercial use.
11. AI generated content and accuracy
The script, narration text, and spoken voice track in a Scenvy video are produced by AI language and speech models, using research gathered from search engines, archives, and any source material you upload. These models can misstate facts, misattribute quotes, or summarize a source incorrectly, even when the underlying research points to a real, reputable source. Scenvy doesn't guarantee that any claim, date, name, or quotation in a generated video is accurate, complete, or current, and you're responsible for checking the facts in a video before relying on it or publishing it, especially where the topic involves real people, ongoing events, health, legal, or financial matters.
If you publish a video somewhere that requires additional labeling, that responsibility remains with you as the publisher. See our AI transparency page for the complete product disclosures.
12. Third party services this depends on
Scenvy's research, writing, narration, visual sourcing, payments, and email delivery run on outside providers, including AI language and speech providers, search providers, stock and archival media libraries, our payment processor, and our cloud hosting. Our Privacy Policy names them and explains what reaches each one. If one of them changes its pricing, terms, or availability, that can change what Scenvy is able to offer, and we're not liable for outages or limits caused by a provider we depend on.
13. Copyright complaints
If you believe material accessible through Scenvy infringes your copyright, send a notice to our designated agent that includes: a signature of the rights holder or someone authorized to act for them; identification of the copyrighted work; identification of the material you claim is infringing and information reasonably sufficient to locate it; your contact information; a statement that you believe in good faith that the use isn't authorized; and a statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and that you're authorized to act for the rights holder.
Send notices to MyChargePoint BW – Silas Wöhr at contact@scenvy.app or Schloßgartenstraße 27, 76275 Ettlingen, Germany. If we remove or disable something in response to a notice, we'll tell the affected user, who can send a counter notice under the same law if they believe the removal was a mistake.
14. Beta status and changes to the service
Scenvy is an early stage product. We may add, remove, or change features, pricing, credit costs, or plan limits, and we may take the Service down for maintenance without it counting as a breach of these terms. Where a change would meaningfully reduce what a paid plan includes, we'll give you notice before it applies to your next renewal.
15. Suspension and termination
You can close your account at any time from your account settings or by emailing us. We can suspend or close an account that violates Section 8, that we're required to act on by law, or that goes unpaid after a reasonable notice. On closure, your access ends and your content is handled under the retention terms in our Privacy Policy. Sections that by their nature should survive closing an account, including ownership, disclaimers, liability, and indemnity, continue to apply.
16. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided as is and as available. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and noninfringement, and we don't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error free, or that any generated content will be accurate or fit for a particular use. Nothing here limits a warranty that the law where you live doesn't allow us to disclaim.
17. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, neither Scenvy nor its suppliers are liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or 100 US dollars if you haven't paid us anything. This section doesn't limit liability that the law where you live doesn't allow us to limit, including, where applicable, liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or gross negligence.
18. Indemnity
You agree to defend and cover Scenvy against any claim, loss, or expense, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your content, your use of the Service in a way that breaks Section 8, or your violation of these terms or of someone else's rights.
19. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of Germany, without regard to conflict of law rules, and any dispute not resolved informally will be brought in the courts located there, except that if you're a consumer, you may also bring a claim in the courts of the country where you live, and nothing here removes a protection that consumer law in your country gives you.
20. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the Service changes. If a change is material, we'll notify you by email or through the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Scenvy after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
21. General
These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Scenvy about the Service. If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision isn't a waiver of it. You can't assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. Neither of us is liable for a delay caused by something reasonably outside our control.
22. Contact
Questions about these terms can go to contact@scenvy.app.
